WBCP 11th Anniversary

The Wild Bird Club of the Philippines celebrated its 11th Anniversary and annual General Assembly on 20 July 2014. One important task at the General Assembly is the election of a new set of officers to serve for 2014-2015.

The afternoon started off with the General Assembly. There were reports from Records Committee Chairman Arne Jensen, President Gina Mapua, and Treasurer Mike Lu.

Past President Mike Lu turned over the funds raised from the sale of Philippine Eagle shirts designed by Arnel Telesforo during Philippine Eagle week to Dennis Salvador of the Philippine Eagle Foundation.

Senator Cynthia Villar launched the LPPCHEA Field Guide designed by Jops Josef and Maia Tanedo. The guidebook features photos donated by WBCP bird photographers. Everyone present at the party received free copies of the LPPCHEA Field Guide.
