“The Walden’s Hornbill (Aceros waldeni), locally called dulungan, is critically endangered. This picture was taken at the project site of PhilinCon near Alegre, Sebaste which is north west of Panay Island. Thanks to the impressive conservation work of PhilinCon, especially the nest guarding project, the Cental Panay Mountain Range is now the best place to see this beautiful hornbill.” – Wenxing
